Mini Album Pee Wee Gaskins, Stories From Our High School Years
11 April 2008, Pee Wee Gaskins me-launching mini album mereka di Mezza9 PIM 21. Album yang berjudul Stories From Our High School Years ini berisikan 5 lagu.

Sejarah Terbentuknya Pee Wee Gaskins
PWG bermula dari project solo dari Alditsa Sadega a.k.a DOCHI . Dochi sendiri yang ngeramu lagu, trus direkam sendiri. Dari bass, gitar, synth, drum, dan vokal dia rekam sendiri. Lagu itu berjudul Here Up On The Attic.
Karena semuanya dia kerjain sendiri, sampe sampe pas dia sampe di studio, operatornya nanya "yg lain mana?" "engga, gw sendiri" "knp lo? ga punya temen? hahaha"
Here Up On The Attic ini dia persembahin buat sahabatnya (cewe) yang tinggal gak jauh dari rumahnya. Ternyata rekaman itu dapat sambutan baik dari sahabat dan temen-temennya.
(Sedikit trivia: setelah hasil rekamannya dia kasi ke ke sahabatnya itu, akhirnya mereka pacaran. Penggalan lagu "just a hug and the company of being there is already enough for me" itu diambil dari diary dia waktu itu)
Dukungan terus mengalir dari temen-temen, maksa Dochi buat ngelanjutin project itu ke format band. Awalnya sih dia gak mau, karena masih betah bantuin band-band temen aja. Waktu itu dia sempet bantuin Killing Me Inside. Kalo salah satu dari gitaris mereka gabisa manggung, Dochi yg gantiin (waktu itu formasinya masih Josaphat & Raka)
Tapi dengan dukungan sang pacar, Dochi pun akhirnya ngelanjutin proyeknya itu menjadi bentuk band.
Selanjutnya Dochi ngajakin Sansan, frontman Killing Me Inside buat gabung. Alhasil, Sansan pun setuju. Sansan di test vocal di lagu ke-2 ciptaan Dochi, Remember The Titans. Selaen nyanyi, Sansan dituntut buat maen gitar juga. Keinginan Dochi waktu itu, dia mau band-nya kali ini dengan konsep baru, no scream dan no double pedal.
Ga lama juga bagi Dochi buat nemuin pemegang bass, drum dan synthesizer. Setelah Sansan, masuklah Omo dan Tlor. Awal mula Omo bisa masuk ke PWG itu karena kebetulan dulu Dochi sempet ketemu Omo pas Killing Me Inside lagi maen di News Cafe. Waktu itu Dochi lupa bawa pick gitar, trus akhirnya minjem sama Omo. Omo selaen jago maen keyboard, juga jago maen gitar lho.
Agak susah buat Dochi ngajakin Omo buat gabung, karena dia sendiri gak terlalu akrab sama Omo. Satu-satunya cara ngajak Omo gabung adalah dengan ngajak juga Tlor buat gabung (Tlor satu band sama Omo). Dochi pun ngasi mereka berdua buat dengerin Remember The Titans, mereka setuju buat gabung.
Berhubung waktu itu band mereka belum punya nama, Dochi sama Sansan mutusin buat googling nama yang serem.
“Gw sama Sansan pengen nama yang serem. Kalau nggak nama monster, ya nama pembunuh. Pas kita search di internet, ketemu nama Donald Gaskins yang reputasinya sebagai pembunuh di atas rata-rata. Tapi karena badannya kecil, dia dapet julukan ‘pee wee’. Makanya kita ambil filosofinya, kecil-kecil bisa membunuh banyak orang,”
Pengakuan Dochi itu tentu maksudnya bukanlah mereka sebagai band pembunuh dalam arti sebenarnya, tapi sebagai band yang bisa memberikan influence-nya ke banyak orang.
Akhirnya, pada 11 April 2007, band mereka resmi bernama PEE WEE GASKINS.
Setelah pemberian nama band, PEE WEE GASKINS mulai mengeluarkan mini album pertama mereka yang bertitle Stories From Our High School Years yang berisikan 5 lagu. PWG pun mulai masuk dan merambah ke dunia musik tanah air. Lagu-lagu yang upbeat, enerjik, dan penuh dengan gejolak remaja emank sesuai banget dijadiin soundtrack buat kita-kita yang masih muda.
Formasi awal Pee Wee Gaskins:
• Sansan (gitar-vokal)
• Dochi (gitar-vokal)
• Omo (synthesizer)
• Tlor (bass)
• Davi Frisya (drum)
Posisi Davi waktu itu gak tetap, dia masih nyelesaiin kuliahnya di Malaysia. Beberapa kali PWG pake drummer cabutan, sampe akhirnya Aldy Kumis gabung. Setelah itu Tlor keluar setelah beberapa hari mini album mereka, Stories From Our High School Years, di-launching. Tlor lebih memilih untuk fokus sama band-nya.
Tapi beda sama Tlor, Sansan sama Omo milih tetep di PWG. Nah waktu itu mulai muncul kontroversi di kalangan fans-fans Sansan di Killing Me Inside. Pada akhirnya muncullah istilah APWG.
Ini PWG pas masih sama Tlor
Posisi Tlor akhirnya digantikan oleh Ayi. Ayi aslinya megang gitar, tapi demi PWG dia rela buat megang bass.
Inilah formasi PWG selanjutnya:
• Sansan (gitar-vokal)
• Dochi (gitar-vokal)
• Omo (synthesizer)
• Eye (bass)
• Aldykumis (drum)
Berkat mini album mereka, PWG mulai banyak mendapat tawaran manggung. Tawaran demi tawaran pun datang buat ngisi di pensi-pensi sekolah. Seiring berjalannya waktu, PWG pun semakin mendapat popularitas. Tapi hal ini tentu saja ga bikin mereka jadi sombong. Mereka terus ngembangin kreatifitas meraka sampai rilis album penuh pertama mereka, The Sophomore. Album ini mengusung 13 lagu. Lagu-lagunya pun lebih variatif dibanding lagu-lagu pada album sebelumnya. Warna musik mereka juga jadi lebih berat. Dengan efek synthesizer yang khas membuat lagu-lagu PWG berbeda dari jenis-jenis musik yang berkembang di Indonesia pada khususnya. Inilah jejak awal kesuksesan PWG. Biarpun banyak dihina, tapi tak sedikit juga yang memuja. Sejarah panjang itu merupakan awal titik kesuksesan PWG sekarang ini.
